How much does it cost to partner with Elite Recognition?
IT’S FREE. That’s right, getting access to our employee rewards platform is absolutely free, whether you have 10 employees or 10,000. We only charge our clients for the awards themselves — which you choose, giving you complete control of how much you spend.
Is there any commitment or contract?
Nope! We’re confident you’re going to love your experience with us, so we don’t feel the need to lock you into an annual contract.
What rewards are there to choose from?
We have thousands of different items in our rewards catalog, all from premier brands you love and trust. Browse our rewards catalog and you’ll find great gear from Apple, Oakley, Bose, Callaway, Balenciaga, Disney, National Geographic and thousands more.
How long does it take to get set up on the platform?
Most programs can be built and ready to go live in just a few weeks.
How long does it take for rewards to arrive?
While there are exceptions, you can expect most rewards to ship in 10 days or less after an order is placed.
What types of awards programs are there?
Our recognition programs fall into a few different categories:
- Safety Awards – are perfect for businesses that must meet certain safety standards or criteria. These are a great way to incentivize your team to do the extra work and meet the criteria your business needs to in order to operate with the full support of whatever organization regulates your industry.
Great for: Food Service, Construction, Manufacturing. - Sales Awards – are for recognizing the teams and individuals that keep your revenue flowing. You can set up tiers so that salespeople can be recognized for hitting their quota and then additionally incentivized to continue beyond it.
Great for: Sales teams. - Service Awards – are for recognizing the continued dedication and commitment of employees. You can set key years of service that an employee spends with the company and recognize them for their loyalty.
Great for: Anyone wanting to recognize years of service. - Total Rewards – are where you can get creative. Have a big project coming up? Reward the team member that contributed the most. Have an employee approaching their 5-year anniversary with the team? Show them how much you appreciate their loyalty? The only limit is your imagination.
Great for: Rewarding key accomplishments of all kinds. - Point Programs – are the ultimate in flexibility. What happens if you have a wide range of teams with different goals and standards? Your Customer Service team has different metrics than your IT guys, so how do you put everyone under the same umbrella? Our point programs let your team slowly accrue points and then spend those in our online store. Even better, you get to choose what goes into our catalog for your company.
Great for: Pretty much everyone!
Employee Recognition
What’s the benefit of using an employee recognition program?
Employees that feel appreciated are a competitive advantage! Employee retention is a huge issue for businesses today — just think about how much time and money your business invests to onboard a new employee versus simply keeping the good people you already have.
- 84% of employees feel that recognition affects their motivation to succeed at work.
- 79% of workers say an increase in recognition rewards would make them more loyal to their employer.
- 29% of employees say they don’t receive recognition for their work from their employer.
Why use an employee recognition program instead of just handling it myself?
You certainly could — if you wanted to keep track of every employee’s hire date, birthday, sales quotas, safety track record, customer compliments — you get the idea. Even small teams are a lot of work to track all of the great work and milestones you may want to recognize. And, that doesn’t include the legwork to source, purchase and follow up on awards suitable for the occasion.
By bringing on Elite Recognition to be your dedicated partner for these things, you get to focus more on the parts of your job you enjoy – let us focus on what we’re good at.
What’s the difference between peer-to-peer and top-down recognition?
Peer-to-peer recognition is when you empower your employees to offer each other rewards while top-down allows management to be in control and offer the incentives. There are pros and cons to each, but we’ve found the top-down method to offer more control and enables companies to reward their teams more fairly and consistently.
Should I set standard milestones or offer rewards on a case-by-case basis?
The best award programs do a little bit of both. You can generate trust and goodwill with your team by setting expectations and then meeting them. For example, telling employees that every year on their work anniversary they’ll receive a special gift from the company — and then delivering on that.
On the other hand, we’ve all heard the phrase “surprise and delight”. Just as it is important to show your team you can follow-through on a promise, it is equally important to show you are paying attention to the work they are putting in, which is something that rarely happens on special calendar days. Surprising an employee who has done a particularly good job shows that you value them and that their hard work is appreciated. And that is how you keep great people doing great work.
